The Celtics are the favorites to win the championship when they’re whole, but they’re continuing to show they can still put up dominant performances when their best pieces are out.And they’re proving that bad losses like Tuesday against the Warriors are an anomaly to their torrid start to the season. The Celtics did not have Kristaps Porzingis, and they didn’t know they would have Jayson Tatum until an hour before tip. It did not matter against one of the NBA’s hottest teams. Tatum scored 30 points in his return from a one-game absence, and the C’s looked like they wanted to prove a point with an emphatic 145-108 victory over the Clippers on Saturday afternoon in front of a Boston-heavy crowd in Los Angeles.Jaylen Brown added 24 points, Jrue Holiday produced another big performance with 20 points and seven assists, and Neemias Queta continued an impressive stretch in his extended opportunity with 14 points and 12 rebounds as the Celtics blew the doors off of the Clippers, who were wi...Patriots rule out offensive starter vs. Broncos, make additional roster moves

When Alexis Cholas lost his right arm as a volunteer combat medic near the front lines in eastern Ukraine, his civilian career as a surgeon was over. But thanks to a new bionic arm, he was able to continue working in health care and is now a rehab specialist helping other amputees. The 26-year-old is delighted with his sleek black robotic arm — he described it as “love at first sight” — and realizes how lucky he was to get one.“There are fewer (bionic) arms available than lost ones,” Cholas said.Russia’s war on Ukraine has created a massive need for prosthetic limbs. An estimated 20,000 Ukrainians have had amputations since the war started in February 2022, many of them soldiers who lost arms or legs due to blast wounds.Only a small number was able to receive bionic prostheses, which are more advanced and can provide greater mobility than the traditional prosthetic limbs. They are also far more costly than conventional prostheses.Bionic artificial limbs typically pick up electrical si...Girls hockey: Defending champion Duxbury skates past Hingham, 3-1

I think our chemistry has started to develop, so I think it’s just (about) working hard, playing gritty, and focusing on the small details …that was kind of all we could ask for going into the first game.”E...One person killed, another injured in shooting at Florida shopping mall
